  • We are looking for an experienced individual to help lead the mechanical and systems department at Concordia Company in South Dartmouth Mass., a boatbuilding, restoration and maintenance yard with a storied 97-year history.

    Responsibilities & Needed Skills:

    • Evaluate and repair marine diesels of all sizes

    • Utilize existing knowledge of standard marine systems including electrical, plumbing, water (fresh, salt, and waste), and HVAC

    • Significant familiarity with boats and confidence with working both on and off the water

    • Ability to task, direct and assist less experienced coworkers

    • Ability to collaborate with company ownership and management on department strategy and workflow

    • Utilize existing knowledge of standard marine systems including electrical, plumbing, water (fresh, salt, and waste), and HVAC

  • We are looking for candidates with any prior experience working with outboard motors or inboard engines, with experience in other types of marine systems a plus.  On-water experience and general comfort handling boats is a plus. Mechanics with automotive or non-marine backgrounds are also welcome to apply.
